Aniston's Surgery

Aniston had her first surgery on her cleft lip on February 22nd, 2012. They brought her lip together and put a prosthesis in the roof of her mouth because the jaw is in 2 different pieces and this will prevent it from collapsing. We did the surgery up at Primary Children's and her surgeons name is Dr. Motoki, the procedure took about 2 hours and we had to spend the night at the hospital. Aniston did really well but she has to wear the metal piece over her mouth and arm restraints for 2 weeks. She also has to relearn how to eat so that will be challenging but we will do whatever necessary for our baby.

She had an i.v. in her for 24 hours so she retained a lot of water and was a very chubby baby for 2 days until she lost all of the water.

I have some amazing bosses, the sent us this teddy bear and edible arrangement.

Aniston 11 weeks old

I am trying to take as many picture of Aniston as possible for she has her surgery because I just love her and I want her to know that her mommy was so proud of the way she looked and I wanted everyone to see how cute she is and was. I don't want to forget what she looked like before the surgery....

Big Sister & Little Sister

I got the girls the cutest shirts. Hadley's shirt says big sister and Aniston's shirt says little sister. Hadley loves wearing her shirt, she is such a proud big sister. Aniston is a lucky girl to have her! I love my girls........

Aniston's Baby Blessing

On Sunday, February 5th, 2012 we had Aniston's baby blessing. It was such a neat day and Mark did an amazing job with the blessing. The really cool thing about it was that exactly one year to the date Mark and I were sealed in the Mount Timpanogas Temple. The men that were in the circle with Mark were my dad (Paul Childs), Mark's dad (Dan Seegmiller), James Childs, Jeremy Cowart, Parker Poulson, Justin Gould, Jim Beckett, Jason Werner, Joe Zach, Josh Carter, Todd Knudsen and the Bishop (Bishop Rushton). We had an awesome surprise when my grandma Burke and Joe & Barbara Zach showed up from Las Vegas for it. After the blessing we went to vivint's tech training warehouse for lunch and a bid Super Bowl party. It was so much fun, good food, and good company. I feel so blessed! Couldn't have been a better day....
