A day at the Zoo

On Monday the 19th, Hadley, my sister Jessica, her baby Crewe and myself went up to the Hogle Zoo for a fun day. We went early enough so that we could beat the heat and I am grateful that we did because it was a hot day. All that Hadley could focus on however was the gift shop and wasn't really interested in the animals (go figure). Needless to say we had a lot of fun and saw some neat animals.

Lake Powell

We went to Lake Powell with the Bylunds for 5 days and stayed on their houseboat with them. It was such a blast and Hadley's first time there, we couldn't get her out of the water or away from the sand. What a great family vacation with AMAZING friends.......

I have decided that every time we drive through a state line that I am going to take Hadley's picture by the sign, I think that it would be fun for memory sake.

Stadium of Fire

So in the 27 years that I have lived in Utah, I have never been to Stadium of Fire but this year Mark was able to get tickets for us and we went on Saturday. I was so excited because Carrie Underwood was there and I love her to death...... My sister Jessica, her husband Jeremy and my youngest sister Hannah went with us.

Gunnison Parade & Carnival

On the 4th of July Gunnison always has a parade and carnival but again it was on the 3rd instead of the 4th. We went and enjoyed the festivities on this day as well, except that ark had to leave after the parade because he had to work so Hadley and I stayed and rode home with Jess and Jeremy.

4th of July Weekend

So in good old Gunnison on the 3rd of July they always have a dinner, auction, fireworks and the newest tradition a concert in the park but since the 4th was on a Sunday this year these festivities were on the 2nd. Mark and I went down there to enjoy all of this with my family. This year they had Neil Diamond come and sing. Just kidding he was a Neil Diamond impersonator from Vegas but he actually looked a lot like him and sounded like him as well.

Hadley danced the whole time (especially when he sang America because she knows the whole song) and she had to get close to him when he came off of the stage so she inched her way towards him.
