Dinosaur Museum

So after school today we went to the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Pointe, it was the last day that they are doing the $2 Tuesdays for the month of August. We went with my sister-in-law Cheyenne, her 2 boys and 2 other girls from the ward and their children. I don't know if the kids really saw anything but they were running through the museum so fast that we didn't have time to stop and enjoy. It was fun anyway and hopefully a good way to end the summer.

1st Day of Kindergarten

Hadley started her first day of Kindergarten today at Mt. Mahagonay Elementary. She was so excited and I cannot believe that my little girl is growing up so quickly. I love that little girl.....

Sugarland Concert

Suzy Zeller invited me to the Sugarland concert with her on Saturday night. I was supposed to see Sugarland 2 years ago at the Kenny Chesney concert but Jennifer had laryngitis and they didn't show so I was very excited about the opportunity to see them. Mark is such a great husband and took Hadley for me so that I could go....

Landon's 5th Birthday Party

Today we celebrated my nephew Landon's 5th birthday. It was pirate themed and the kids had a blast, there were water games for the kids, a pinate and then cake & ice cream. I helped Chey make the ice cream birthday cake and I think that it turned out pretty good, it is a skull and bones just in case you are unsure looking at it.

Trafalga

For Family Home Evening on Monday we went to the new Trafalga in Lehi. This was my first time there and it is a really neat and fun place. We were there for a couple of hours and Hadley loved it. We did laser tag, Hadley rock climbed, we mini golfed and also played arcade games. Good times with the family........

Portland, Oregon

I was surprised by my amazing husband and boss with a ticket out to Portland to visit my sisters for a week. It was a much needed trip and it was great to see Jessica and Nicole. We went swimming a lot up at Jessica's sister-in-laws parents house which is an amazing house. The pool was the best pool ever and it will be hard to swim at any other pool. We also went miniature golding, did a lot of shopping (which was nice to do there because there are no taxes), we went to downtown Portland as well and enjoyed doughnuts at VooDoo Doughnuts and then walked through Saturday Market. My nephew Crewe is getting so big and it was fun to see and play with him. I miss those guys!!!!
